The last couple years have been trying but one thing has not changed, our caregivers still need support and we need to continue to raise awareness of this terrible memory robbing disease. The annual Alzheimer's Association Facts & Figures for 2022 are astounding. Over 6 million people in the US have Alzheimer's disease; including 75,000 Kentuckians. The disease affects 1 in 3 older adults and it is the 6th leading cause of death in the US today for which there is no cure; about half of those who suffer from Alzheimer's disease never receive the diagnosis. On another note, there are millions of unpaid caregivers! Many reside in Morehead & Rowan County. We hope we can count on you to register to participate in person or on your own, and help raise funds and awareness.
